Archimedes Principle the law that a body immersed in a fluid is buoyed up by a force (buoyant force) equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the body.
Buoyant tending to float in a fluid.
Elasticity the state or quality of being flexibility; resilience; adaptability
Specific Heat the number of calories required to raise the temperature of 1 gram of a substance 1°C, or the number of BTU's per pound per degree F.
Amorphous lacking definite form; having no specific shape
Crystalline of or like crystal; clear; transparent.
Fluid a substance, as a liquid or gas, that is capable of flowing and that changes its shape at a steady rate when acted upon by a force tending to change its shape.
Strength the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor.
Bernoulli's Principle the principle that in a liquid flowing through a pipe the pressure difference that accelerates the flow when the bore changes is equal to the product of half the density times the change of the square of the speed, provided friction is negligible
Density the state or quality of being dense; compactness; closely set or crowded condition.
Malleability capable of being shaped, as by hammering or pressing
Brittleness having hardness and rigidity but little tensile strength; breaking readily with a comparatively smooth fracture, as glass.
Ductility able to undergo change of form without breaking.
Pressure the exertion of force upon a surface by an object, fluid, etc.
