What are 2 functions of every cell? gets rid of waste and stores food.
How do most cells get energy? cellular respiration.
What is cellular respiration? taking in of food and oxygen.
The body has how many different kinds of cells? 200
What is the shape of a nerve cell? the shape of branches.
How does the shape of a nerve cell help it do its job? the shape helps it to send messages to communicate.
Why are skins cells flat? So there is no holes and it could overlap.
Describe the cells that are found in the airways of the lungs. they look like wavy hairs that are called cilia. they sweep dust and germs.
How does the shape of red blood cells help them perform their function? they are round and that allows them to move fast in your body.
What is tissue? a group of the same type of cells working together doing the same job.
what is an organ? a grouping of different tissues as one structure.
What are four different organs in your body? Stomach, heart, kidney, and intestines.
What are four examples of plant organs? stems, roots. leaves, and flowers.
define organ system. a group of organs and tissue that work together carrying a life process.
How many bones are there in the skeleton system? 700.
what mineral is stored in bones and released into blood when its levels become too low? Calcium
Why is each bone and organ? its a group of tissue.
What two muscles work together to move the arm? bicep and tricep.
What two organ systems work together to move the body? Muscle and skeletal systems.
Name two other systems. Muscle and nervous systems.
How does the nervous system work with the muscle system? nervous systems sends signals to your brain
How does the skeletal system work with the muscle system? skeletal system is pulled by the muscles to move the body
