Plantation Colony Colony that based it structure on Plaantations. Growing "Cash Crops" is the economic backbone of the colony
Low Country Area near the Coast, many plantations with slave & wealthy families
Up Country Also called "Back Country" less educated subsistance farmers live in this area away from the coast.
Vilgilante any person who takes the law into his or her own hands; avenging a crime
Regulator Movement Group of Backcountry settlers who operated outside of the law in an attempt to create order.
