Arable Land suitable for farming
Commercial Farming Raising crops for sale, often on large farms
Demography The study of humane population, including how they change due to births, deaths, and migration
Desertification The process in which land becomes more and more dry until it turns into desert; may be caused by climate change, humane activities, or both
Forestry The planting, growing, and harvesting of trees
Hunting and gathering People that hunt animals and gather plants for food
Livestock Raising Raising animals for food, milk, wool, or other products
Monotheism The belief in only one God
Monsoon A seasonal wind
Nomadic Herders People who move around often to find food and water for their animals

Refugee Someone who seeks safety by going to another country
