Cell a specific location within a spreadsheet and is defined by the intersection of a row and column
Cell Address The destination on a worksheet indicated by the column header and the row header.
Formula a calculation that is performed on one or more variables
=Roundup(B3,2) round the data in cell address B3 to the second decimal place.
=Average(C5,c25) add the C5 and C25, then divide them by 2.
=B2*B3 multiplying the B2 and B3 together.
=C9-C10 Subtracting C9 by C10
=D4/D5 dividing D4 and D5 then shows answer
=E1+E2 Adds the two together, then shows you the answer
Auto sum adds up all highlighted numbers and then shows the sum in cell next to it.
Formula Bar a formula bar helps you format and edit the formula's in excel worksheets
sheet tab a sheet tab is the sheet that can pull up in excel
work book a spreadsheet file. By default, each workbook in Excel contains three pages or worksheets.
work sheet A worksheet is a single page or sheet in a spreadsheet program such as Excel.
Web Host A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their own website accessible via the World Wide Web
annotation A note by way of explanation or comment added to a text or diagram
Search Engine index millions of sites on the Web
Keyword words or phrases that describe content.
Search Locate specific websites
How do you determine if the author of a website is an expert? They have a place where you can contact them, and after you Google them, if they have a degree in it
Why does it matter who (or what company/organization) provides the funding of a website? Because you need someone who is trustworthy and has been in the business for a while, so that they know what they are talking about.
How do you determine the accuracy or validity of a website? If you look at the website, then enter it into the Google search bar, and the same information comes up, then you know that the information is good on the website.
Where is the title of a website located? Usually under the tab that is the website.
Where is the author of a website located? Usually at the bottom, or under the FAQS.
Where is the date of a website found? Under the authors name or near it that says the copyright year.
