Volcano An opening in the earth, usually lava escapes from the Earth's core. BOOM!
Strait A narrow strip of water connecting two bodies of water.
Oasis A spot of fertile land in a desert fed by water from wells of underground springs.
Gilligan's Island A body of land surrounded by water.
Flood Plain Not Food Plain Flat land near the edges of rivers formed by mud and silt deposited by floods.
Swampy An area of land saturated by water.
Plateau A broad flat area of land higher then the surrounding land.
CACTUS!!! (Desert) A dry area where few plants grow.
Delta A triangular area of land formed from depositing at the mouth of a river.
MARSHmellow Soft, wet, low-lying,grassy land that serves as a transition between water and land.
Mesa MAH CORN! A wide flat topped mountain with steep sides larger than butte?
Canyon Crayon A narrow deep valley with steep sides.
River Mouth Maybe? The place where the river meets the ocean.
Harbor A sheltered area of water deep enough for docking ships.
Cape A pointed piece of land extending into an ocean.
Prairie A large level area of grassy land with few or no trees (But they have Cacti)
Cliff-ord the big red dog The steep almost vertical edge of a gill, mountain or plain.
Mountain Natural elevation of the earths surface with steep sides and higher than a hill.
Valley Low land between hills or mountains. And cacti.
Glacier A large ice mass that moves slowly down a mountain or land.
