Hyperlink a word, phrase, or image that you can click on to jump to a new document or a new section within the current document

HTML This is the language that Web pages are written in

Serial Port a type of connection on PCs that is used for peripherals such as mice
Parallel Port This interface is found on the back of older PCs and is used for connecting external devices such as printers or a scanners
USB Port Stands for "Universal Serial Bus."

Domain Name This is the name that identifies an Web site
Domain Suffix is the last part of a domain name and is often referred to as a "top-level domain" or TLD
Encryption The coding or scrambling of information so that it can only be decoded and read by someone who has the correct decoding key
Log In / Log On If you are ever asked to enter your username and password, you are being asked to enter your
Log Off / Log Out refers to the process of accessing a secure computer system or website and disconnects you from a server
Cookie a small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your web browser.

Auto fill Cursor This cursor looks like a thin black cross and this cursor will let you repeat things or in a series
Select Mode Cursor This cursor looks like a thick cross if you are in excel and this shows you are in normal mode
Click and Drag Cursor This cursor looks like a white arrow with a black outline and if you move this it will move where ever you have your mouse
Resizing Cursor This cursor looks like a thick black line with two arrows intersecting it and this cursor is used to change the size of your columns and rows
