Area, surface area, perimeter, and volume formulas (7th grade math)

Rectangle - area A = lw (length, width)
Rectangle - perimeter P = 2l + 2w (length, width)
Parallelogram - area A = bh (base, height)
Triangle - area A = 1/2 bh (base, height)
Triangle - perimeter P = a + b + c (a, b, c = sides)
Trapezoid - area A = 1/2(b1 + b2)h (base1, base2, height)
Trapezoid - perimeter P = A + b1 + b2 + c (Area, base1, base2, c = angled side)
Circle - area A = πr^2 (π = pi, radius, ^2 = squared)
Circle - perimeter P = 2πr = πd (radius, diameter)
Rectangular solid - volume V = lwh (length, width, height)
Rectangular solid - surface area SA = 2lw + 2lh + 2wh (length, width, height)
Prism - volume V = bh (b = area of base, height)
Prism - surface area SA = 2b + Ph (b = area of base, P = perimeter of base, height)
Cylinder - volume V = πr^2h (radius, height)
Cylinder - surface area SA = 2πr^2 + 2πrh (radius, height)
Pyramid - volume V = 1/3bh (b = area of base, height)
Cone - volume V = 1/3πr^2h (radius, height)
Cone - surface area SA = πr^2 + πrs (s = side of cone = square root of r^2 + h^2)
Sphere - volume V = 4/3πr^3
Sphere - surface area SA = 4πr^2
