Sugar Revolution

What were the effects of the Sugar Revolution on the Lesser Antilles? Population of blacks increased and whites decreased. Small farmers who could not afford to grow sugar moved to England or became buccaneers. Islands became poor because they could not afford to import foodstuff to feed themselves.
Reason for the fall in prices of the West Indian tobacco Virginia grew the most tobacco so they were traded with first and West Indian planters could not compete.
