identity theft | the crime of setting up and using bank accounts and credit facilities in another person's name without his or her knowledge |
spammers | people who compose lists of e-mails to sell illegally or without the consent of the people owning those addresses to others who send out mass e-mails for advertising purposes (spam) |
tabs | a way to organize information on a web page by stacking the information and allowing access to it by clicking on a button or "tab" that brings the page to the top of the stack |
top level domain names | the part of the web address that appears in the root zone and is commonly recognized. Examples would be .com .net .gov .edu, etc. |
