Fractions and Decimals

denominator | The number below the fraction bar in a fraction. |
Common factor | A number that is a factor of two or more given numbers |
improper fraction | A fraction whose numerator is larger than the denominator. |
simple form | A fraction in which the greatest common factor of the numerator and denominator is one. |
Greatest Common Factor (GCF) | The greatest number that is common to two or more given numbers. |
benchmark | Common fractions used for estimating such as 1/4,1/3,1/2,2/3/,3/4. |
