A review of the parts of the grand staff
| Question | Answer |

| Leger line | A line above or below the staff |
| Key signature | At the beginning of a song; indicates which note is "Do" for that song |
| Bass clef | Also called the F clef, lower half of keyboard |
| Treble Clef | Also called the G clef, higher half of keyboard |
| Meter Sign | Top number=how many beats in a measure; bottom number=what kind of note gets one beat |
| Measure | The space between the bar lines |
| Bar line | Line that separates music into measures |
| Flat | Makes a note one-half step lower or to the left on a keyboard; looks like b |
| Sharp | makes a note one-half step higher or to the right on a keyboard; looks like # |
| Half step | On a keyboard, two keys that are next to each other, no keys in between |
| Whole step | On a keyboard, two keys that have another key in between them |
| Major scale | Pattern of notes that have half steps between Mi-Fa, and Ti-Do, all the rest are whole steps |
