Chap. 7-1 Vocab.

circle graph- A graph that shows data parts of a whole. In the circle graph, the percents add up to 100.
histogram- A type of bar graph used to display numerical data that have been organized into equal intervals.
stem-and-leaf plot A system where data are orginized from least to greastest. The digits of the least value usually form the leaves, and the next place-value digits from the stems.
leaf- The digits of the least place value of data in a stem-and-leaf plot.
stem- The digits of the greastest place vaule of data in the stem-and-leaf plot.
outlier- A data vaule that is either much greater or much less than the median.
