Quadrants The sections in which the coordinate plane is divided in.
Coordinate Plane Plane containg the x- and y- axis.
X-Axis The horizontal number line
Y-Axis The vertical number line
Axes Two perpindicular number lines that are used to locate points on a coordinate plane
X- Coordinate First number in an ordered pair
Y-Coordinate Second number in an ordered pair
Graph To draw, or plot, the points named by certain numbers or ordered pairs on a number line or coordinate plane
relation a set of ordered pairs
domian is the set of first coordinates from the ordered pairs in the relation
range set of second coordinate from the ordered pair in the relation
mapping pairs one element in the domain with one element in the range
independent Variable domain
dependent variable range
