Mixed Number A number that has a whole number and a fraction.
Improper Fraction A fraction in which the numerator is greater than or equal to the denominator.
Numerator The number above the fraction bar in a fraction.
Denominator The number below the fraction bar in a fraction; The total number of equal parts
Tenths One of ten equal parts of a whole.
Hundredths One part of 100 equal parts of a whole.
Decimal A dot used to separate dollars from cents or ones from tenths in a number.
Equivalent Numbers that name the same amount.
