QuestionAnswer
The set of whole numbers and their opposites: {...-3, -2, -1, -, 1, 2, 3...} Integer
The distance from x to the origin on the number line; never less than zero because ti represents distance. Absolute Value
Non-negative integers Whole Number
A number less than zero. Negative
A number greater than zero. Positive
A positive and negative number whose sum is zero. Zero Pair
The number which when added to another number equals zero. Additive Inverse
The answer in addition. Sum
The answer to a subtraction problem. Difference
The answer in division. Quotient
The answer in multiplication. Product
An integer that is a multiple of 2:{...-4, -2, 0, 2, 4...} Even Integer
Any integer that, when divided by 2 does not have an integer as the quotient. Odd Integer
