Waht is the normal Hb Value of an ADULT MALE? 14-16g/100ml
What is the normal Hb value an ADULT FEMALE? 12-15g/100ml
What is the normal Hb value for an infant? 14-20g/100ml
What % of an RBC's wirght is Hb? 33%
What are your 3 physiological shunts? Thebesian venous drainage into left atrium, Brobchiole venous drainage into pulmonary veins & Alveolar that are under ventilated relative to pulmonary blood.
CaO2 (O2 Content of arterial blood) Formula = (Hb * 1.34 * SaO2)+(PaO2 * 0.003)
CvO2 (O2 Concentration of mixed venous blood) Formula = (Hb * 1.34 * SvO2)+(PvO2 * 0.003)
CcO2 (O2 Content of pulmonary capillary blood) Formula = (Hb * 1.34)+(PAO2 * 0.003)
What causes the O2 dissociation curve to shift to the left? Increased pH, Decreased PcO2, Decreased Temp, Decreased 2,3-DPG
What causes the O2 dissociation curve to shift to the right? Decreases pH, Increased PcO2, Increased Temp, Increased 2,3-DPG
What is P50? A point of reference on the curve that represents the partial pressure at which Hb is 50% saturated with O2.
