XREF | External Reference |
OLE | Object Linking and Embedding |

STL | Stereo Lithography File format used for 3D printing |
XREF manager | Used to control External References within a drawing |
XREF Attach | Tells AutoCAD to load this drawing as a nested XREF |
XREF Overlay | Tells AutoCAD to ignore the reference as a nested xref. |
XCLIP | allows you to clip out part of the displayed XREF. |
Image Manager | Controls images inserted into a drawing file |
Image Clip | Allows you to define and control clipping boundaries associated with images. |
Image Quality | Controls the quality of the referenced image |
Image Adjust | Allows you to control properties of a referenced image. |
Transparency | Allows you to make certain types of images transparent in the drawing. |
XBIND | Makes the XREF part of the drawing (becomes a BLOCK) |
Detach | Permanently removes the XREF from the file. |
Unload | Erases the XREF but allows it to remain in the XREF manager. |
