GB-1 * Tongziliao- In the hallow on the lateral side of the orbital margin, approximately 0.5 cun lateral to the outer canthus. (* indictes a frequently used point) Ind.:Pacifies Liver and stops wind. Improves visual acuity and removes nebula.
GB-2 Tinghui-In the hallow between the intertragic notch posteriorly and the condyloid process of the mandible anteriorly. Locate this point with the mouth wide open.
GB-3 Shangguan-Anterior to the ear, in a hollow above the border of the zygomatic arch, directly superior to Xiaguan ST-7.
GB-4 Hanyan-In the temporal region, within the hariline, one quatter of the distance between Touwei ST-8 and Qubin GB-7
GB-5 Xuanlu-In the temporal region, within the hairline, half the distance between Touwei ST-8 and Qubin GB-7.
GB-6 Xuanli-In the temporal region, within the hairline, three quaters of the distance between Touwei ST-8 and Qubin GB-7.
GB-7 Qubin-In the temporal region, within the hairline, level with and one finger breath anterior to Jiaosun Sj-20.
GB-8 * Shuaigu-In the temporal region, in the slight depression 1 cun directly above the apex of the ear. Ind.: Pacifies liver and stops wind. Calms mind and stops vomiting.
GB-9 Tianchong-Above the ear, in the depression 0.5 cun posterior to Shuangu GB-8
GB-10 Fubai-Posterior to the ear, along the curved line drawn from Tainchaong GB-9 to Wangu GB-1 running within the hairline and lore or less parallel to the line of the rim of the ea, in a depression about 1/3rd of the dist. between GB-9 and GB-12.
GB-11 Touqiaoyin-Posterior to the ear, along the curved line drawn from GB-9 to GB-12 running within the hairline and lore or less parallel to the line of the rim of the ear, in a depression slightly greater than 2/3rds of the dist. between the two.
GB-12 Wangu-On the head, in the depression posterior and inferior to the mastoid process.
GB-13 Benshen-"root of spirit"-On the head, 0.5 cun above the anterior hairline, 3 cun latteral to Du-24, at the junction of the medial 2/3rds and the latteral 1/3rd oc the line connecting DU-24 and ST-8.
GB-14 * Yangbai-On the forehead, directly above the pupil, 1 cun above the eyebrow. Ind.:Clears heat and improves visual acuity
GB-15 Toulingqi-On the head, directly above the pupil and 0.5 cun above the anterior hairling, at the midpoint of the line connecting Du-24 and St-8.
