What is a description/definition for the Nara Period? It is named after the capital of Nara, Japan. It lasted from 710 to 794 AD. The government and religion were influenced by Japan.
What is a description/definition for the Heian Period? It was the last period of classical Japanese history. It lasted from 794 to 1184 AD. It was a height for the imperial court.
What is a description/definition for the Samurai Culture (Military)? The samurai culture lasted from 700 to 1868 AD. Training began at 5-10 years old. The warriors would served Daimyos.

What is a description/definition for the Westernization of Japan? The Meiji Emperor pushed westernization.It lasted from 1868 to 1912. Examples of westernization are railroads, telegraphs, factories, guns, and cannons.
