What did the West do in 1938 with Hitler that infuriated Stalin? Agreed to let Hitler take over parts of Czechoslovakia without asking for Stalin's opinion
What was signed between Hitler and Russia that meant they would split Poland between them? The Nazi-Soviet Pact in 1939
What did Britain and USA do that Stalin believed to be an attempt to weaken Russia? Delayed opening a second front until 1944, which would have taken pressure off Russia

What agreement was made regarding the German economy at Potsdam? It would be run as a whole, despite the country being divided into zones

At Potsdam, who wanted Germany to pay heavy reparations and who wasn't too keen on this idea? Stalin wanted heavy reparations, Truman wasn't keen
Why did Stalin want to control Eastern Europe? To protect the Soviet Union
Why did Truman think Stalin wanted control of Eastern Europe? To spread communism
What did the USA hope their atomic bomb would do in their negotiations with Stalin? Use it as leverage to persuade Stalin to relinquish control of Eastern European countries
