How does Homer end up on battlefield? The balloon catches fire, he jumps in to a pond, & is pulled out by Confederate soldiers
What is a bull pit? How did Homer end up there? Prison; they think he is a spy
How does Homer get out of the bull pit? He rides a pony out after the general calls the men to the battlefield
How does Homer get back on the battlefield? He rides a pony until he gets to the union side
Who finds Homer on the battlefield? Webster B. Willow
What does Homer find out about Harold? He was on the same train as Mr. Willow and hasn't made it to the battle yet
Where is Harold when Homer finds him? Prison Wagon
What has happened to Harold in the army? He had a black eye and was labeled a mutaneer
What does Harold tell Homer to do when the fighting starts? He tells him to hide him in the wagon
What does Homer actually do? He follows Harold into battle
How does Homer help during the battle? he gives out ammo
What does Harold do that Homer always thought he would? Carries the flag
What does Homer do to get Harold's attention on the battlefield? He shoots a rock that splinters & gets stuck in Harold's leg
Who saves Harold and Homer? Col. Chamberlain
What became of Professor Fleabottom? He bribes the jailers with his gold buttons & dies on the battlefield
What does Harold find out while he's in the army hospital? He's going to be released from his duties for being too young
Where do Harold and Homer finally end up? with Mr. Brewster
What did Harold loose because of the Battle of Gettysburg? His lef
