Dysrhythmias

tachycardia manifestations hypotension, dizziness because of decreased CO
sinus tachycardia interventions treat cause, attempt vagal maneuvers, beta or calcium channel blockers
1st degree heart block PR interval prolonged, caused by myocardial infarction, hyperthyroidism, increasing age, electrolyte imbalance
premature atrial contraction irregular atrial rate, P wave before QRS will have different shape; may feel palpitations or skipped beats; continuous monitor - precursor to a fib or flutter
