Distributive property | You can multiply a number by a group of numbers added together by multiplying each number by the first number and then adding the results. |

Factor | A number or algebraic expression that divides another number or expression without leaving a remainder. |
Factored form | Writing an expression as a product of its factors. |
Geometric sequence | A sequence where each term is found by multiplying the previous term by a fixed number. |
Like terms | Terms in an algebraic expression that have the same variables and exponents. |
Monomial | An algebraic expression with only one term. |
Multiplicative Identity Property | The property that states that any number multiplied by one is the number itself |
Multiplicative identity property of 0 | The property that states that any number multiplied by zero is zero. |
Sequence | A list of numbers or objects following a pattern or rule. |
Simplest form | An algebraic expression with no unnecessary parts that can be simplified no further. |
Simplify | To make an algebraic expression easier to work with by combining like terms and removing unnecessary parts. |
