1st Person Point of View Told from the narrator's perspective using I-me-mine in his/her speech
2nd Person POV The narrator tells the story to another character using you, your, you're
3rd Person POV Characters are referred to as "the" and "she." The narrator is not a character in the story
3rd Person Omniscient POV Characters are referred to as "he" and "she." However, the narrator knows everything; all thoughts, feelings, and actions of the characters in the story
Allegory A figure of speech in which abstract ideas and principles are described in terms of characters, figures and events
