Atmosphere includes all of the gas surrounding the planet (78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen, 1% other gas)
Biosphere parts of the earth where life exists
Convection the circulation of fluids which is caused by changes in density and temperature
Erosion moving sediments from one location to another
Geosphere includes the non-living things such as rocks, soil, and minerals that make up the land on earth
Hydrosphere all of the water on the earth’s surface such as oceans, seas, lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams
Lava melted rock above the earth’s crust
Magma molten rock deep within the earth
Precipitation moisture that falls from the clouds to Earth’s surface
Rock cycle a series of processes that transports and continually changes rock into different forms
Water cycle continuous movement of water on, above, and below Earth's surface
Weather the state of the air and atmosphere at a certain time and place
Weathering the process that breaks down rocks and other materials on Earth's surface
Convection The heat transfer by the movement of currents in a fluid
