crown Noun. Definition: headband with jewels used by royalty. Sentence: The crown was decorated with emeralds and rubies.
oat Noun. Definition: grain used as food. Sentence: Mom made oat cakes for the party.
cloak Noun. Definition: long cape or coat that covers a person. Sentence: He was allowed to wear a cloak at the show.
doze Verb. Definition: sleep lightly. Sentence: I will doze by the fire with a blanket on.
roll Verb. Definition: move in a circular motion. Sentence: It was fun to roll down the hill.
load Noun. Definition: something heavy or bulky that is about to be carried. Sentence: They must carry a load of eight pounds on their backpacks.
rotten Adjective. Definition: suffering from decay. Sentence: We only have rotten eggs in the fridge.
clock Noun. Definition: device that tells time. Sentence: Check the clock to see how much time we have.
go Verb. Definition: move from one place to another. Sentence: We will go to the park tomorrow.
grown Verb. Definition: become bigger, reaching maturity. Sentence: The plants have grown over the summer.
zero Noun. Definition: nothing, the figure 0. Sentence: Count to 25 beginning from zero.
cone Noun. Definition: cylinder that starts big and end in a point. Sentence: There is the cone to put ice cream on it.
sofa Noun. Definition: a long seat with back and arms. Sentence: Let's sit down on the sofa to watch TV.
coach Verb. Definition: to train or teach. Sentence: He has to coach the football game tonight.
groan Noun. Definition: deep sound made in pain or sadness. She lay back with a groan because her dad did not let her go to the party.
