Xia Dynasty: Xia- (2200 BC - 1700 BC Aprrox.) - Around 17 emperors - Lasted nearly 500 years - End of primitive society and the beginning of dynasties -Little Known & Little Recorded
Shang Dynasty: Shang- (1800 BC - 1040 BC Aprrox.) - Archeologists found impressive builidings/ city stretches - Royal tombs similiar to Egypt/Mesopotamia - First recorded history - Oracle bones used by rulers to communicate with spirits & gods
Zhou Dynasty: Zhou- (1046 BC - 256 BC Approx.) - Divided into 2 dynasties East & West Zhou - Longest lasting (over 800 years) - Philosophers/thinkers involved (Laozi, Confucius, Mencius)
Qin Dynasty: Qin- (221 BC - 206 BC)
