Variable A part of an experiment
Quantitative The use of mathematics for science or an experiment
Qualitative The physical part of science or an experiment
Independent Variable A stand alone variable that remains unchanged by other variables in an experiment, The variable that changes
Dependent Variable The variable that is affected and changed by other variables in an experiment, Responds to the change of other variables
Manipulated Variable The variable that is changed when doing a experiment
Responding Variable The variable that responds to the change created by the manipulated variable
Precise Exact and spot on
Accurate Generally correct and on the mark
Valid Decides whether the experiment qualifies as an experiment by scientific standards
Reliable The sureness that your results are entirely accurate, That you have done it multiple times and come up with the same result
Empirical Evidence Information or evidence organised and collected from observation
Pseudo Science Science that specifically doesn't focus on fact or logic
Results The outcome of an experiment
Conclusion The answer of your hypothesis
Hypothesis An educated guess about the result of the experiment
Constant The unchanging variable in an experiment
Control What typically happens without changing anything
