Matter. | Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. Examples are a water bottle, television and book etc... |
Mass. | Mass describes the amount of matter in a object such as the mass of a balloon with out air is 0.005 grams/g and the mass of a balloon with air is 0.010 grams/g. |
Weight. | The measure of gravitational force of an object is called weight. |
Volume. | The amount of space that an objects takes up, or occupies, is known as the object's volume. Objects with similar volumes do not always have the same mass. |
Density. | The definition of density is that it is a measure of the amount of mass in a given volume. The density of a given substance remains the same no matter how much of the substance you have. |
