host | an organism in which a parasite reside and or derives nutrients from |
disease | A disorder in an organism that produses adverse effects and is not a result of physical injury can beidentified by specific sighs or symptoms and canaffect one or more parts of the organism |
pathogen | anything capable of causing infectious diseases |
epidemic | A widespread infectious disease that affects a single community at a specifi time can become a pandemic if not contained and stopped |
pandemic | a widespread infectious disease that affects a whole country multiple countries or the whole world starts as an epidemic that was not contained and stopped |
antibiotic | A medicine that destroy or stop the growth or spread of microorganisms |
vaccine | an injection of a killed or weekened pathogen that helps build an organism immune system against specific disease. |
