antagonist comes in conflict (fight, causes problems, etc) with the protagonist
author creator or writer of a story
central or main character character(s) the story focuses on
Character an individual in a story
climax the most exciting part where both people and event change in a story
exposition sets the scene and explains what is going on in the beginning of the story
falling action events that follow climax to reach the resolution (or end) of the story
illustrator creates pictures of the story
plot the main story (as of a literary work or movie)
plot mountain the diagram used to explain the parts of a story
protagonist the champion, hero or lead figure
resolution the end of the story where the plot is resolved.
rising action events of a story leading to the climax
secondary character all the other people or things in the story
Setting the time and place of the action of a story or dramatic work (as a play or movie)
theme subject or big idea of the story. example: good vs evil
