comment a verbal or written remark expressing an opinion or reac

where begins a block of code that can be use only immediately on the line above it. organizes code in independent chonks that don't interfere with each other
identifiers the name of variables and functions
square brackets used in lists
parentheses are used for tuples and arguments
commas used to separate elements in lists and tuples
literal data includes numbers such as 1 or text that's enclosed in double quotes like"(hack Wagon)
specification statement at the top of the input pannle the specifies the purpose of the program(as a comment so it is ignored by the program example:--This program will display the red bird.
documentation a description of all the available libraries for your reference
library a collection of predefined functions.
import statement using the keyword import followed by the name of the library being imported once the library is imported into the code. The programmer can use any function defined in that library (standard)
hanging indent formatting of a paragraph citation or definition for which all line except the first are indented .
header specification, name and date, and import statement
body were the actual code is. Must contain program
ethics the moral principle applied to a persons actions.
plagiarism the unethical act of passing off someone else's work as your own.
problem solver a thinker that takes all the knowledge and resources at hand to design solutions.
perseverance the act of continuing to attempt something difficulties, even if it takes a long time to succeed often after failures.
growth mindset the belief that you learn and grow through perseverance and resilience
debugging the process of identifying and fixing errors in a code program.
name and date your name and the date you wrote in the code
type a general classification of data that describes how it is intended to be used.
list a collection of objects of the same type( it contains square brackets([])and objects are separated by commas) example ["blue","red"]
empty list a list with no objects inside
signature is a shorter version of a list
function a predefined process applied to an input to produce an output
input an expression or object that is passed to a function
output an expression or object that results from what the function does to the input
type a general classification of data that describes how the data is intended to be used
