Computer A programmable, electronic device that accepts data input.
Software The instructions, also called computer programs, that are used to tell a computer what to do.
Operating system A type of system that enable a computer to operate and manage it's resource & activities
Embedded Computer A tiny computer in a product and designed to perform specific tasks for that product
Mid range servers A medium sized computer used to host programs and data from a small network.
Mainframe computers A computer used in large organizations such as hospitals large business and colleges,that need to manage large amount of centralized data
Computer Network A collection of computers and other hardware devices that are connected together.
WEB page A document, typically containing hyperlinks to other documents, located on a Web server and available through the WWW
WEB site A collection of related web pages
Domain name A text based internet address used to uniquely identify a computer on the internet.

What is ACII American Standard code for information interchange. A fixed lengthy binary coding system widely used to represent text based data for computer processing on many types of computers
How is data tranlated on your computer for you to see by bits, and bytes, which are arranged by numbers 0 and 1
What is system unit The main box of a computer that houses to the CPU, motherboard memory and other devices.
What is CPU Performs the calculations and does the comparison needed for processing and controls the other parts of the computer system a chip located in side
What is the motherboard The main circuit board of a computer, located in side the system unit, to which all computer components connect
Ram Chips connect to the mother board that provides a temporary location for the computer to hold data
Cache memory A group of fast memory chips
Storage Device A piece of hardware, such as DVD drive into which a storage medium is to be inserted
Storage medium The part of a storage system where data is stored such as dvd.
