Black Cohosh reduces symptoms of PMS; dysmenorrhea & menopause

Ephedra bronchodilator for asthma, nasal decongestant, cans stimulant
Feverfew to reduce migraines ; treat rheumatoid arthritis due to its anti-inflammatory effects
Garlic reducing cholesterol & triglycerides; anti platelet activity
Ginger alleviate nausea and vomiting ; modestly effective in reducing inflammation and pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis .
Gingko primarily for increasing cerebral blood flow. may improve memories . pts with Alzheimers may show modest improvement in cognitive performance and social functioning
Ginseng increases body resistance to stress, overcomes disease by building up defenses, strengthens general vitality
Green tea cns stimulants to improve cognitive performance, lower LDL, increase HDL, reduce onset of Parkinsonism . might reduce bladder, pancreatic & esophageal cancer , raises b/p heart rate , acts as diuretic increases contractility
Goldenseal antiseptic; astringent; reduces inflammation on mucous membrane topically as a tea for treatments of canker sores, sore mouth, and cracked and bleeding lips may help fight upper RI such as cold and flue
Valerian Mild tranquilizer; used for restlessness and may promote sleep
St Johns Wort mild depression, wound healing (light and heat sensitivity)
