Did the colonies accept his idea Colonies did not accept the idea because they did not want to give too much power to one government
What does Join or Die mean It means that colonies could join as one big colony or die against the British. Ben Franklin wants to tell people that we are stronger together
What were France and England fighting over during the French and Indian War. Who won and how? They were fighting over the Ohio River Valley. England won by capturing France's forts with the help of the colonists
After the French and Indian war, what happened to France's power in England The French lost power over Canada and most of the territory east of the Mississippi River
How does this war cause problems between the colonists and England The war causes problems between them because when England started taxing the colonists, they felt betrayed and used
Define the Proclamation of 1763 The proclamation made it illegal for colonists to settle west of the Appalachian Mountains
Why dod the proclamation anger the colonists? They felt as though their right to travel was being taken away from them
Why did the Sugar act anger the colonists There was no representation in parliament for the colonists
After the townshed act, colonists were being taxed for goods such as glass and paper. The would start to boycott the goods, what does this mean? Colonists would stop buying these goods
