method a way of doing something
evidence proof, something you can show to prove something is true
approximate not exact
amount how much there is of something uncountable (=quantity)
estimate to make a good guess based on some knowledge
section a part of something that has been divided up
origin where something started, its beginning
relative to compared to something else
proportion a part or share of a whole in comparison to other parts
rate the speed something goes, or a measurement of how often something happens in a given time (eg your heart rate)
gradual happening slowly over a long period
represent show (in a certain form)
survey a piece of research done by asking a set of questions to get data
random not organised; in a chance way
risk the likelihood or danger that something bad will happen
resources the things you have available to use
scheme a plan
equipment the things or tools needed for a particular activity
properties of the characteristics or features that something has, which define it.
