1st Amendment Freedom of speech

5th Amendment No person can be tried twice for the same offence
6th Amendment In court, the accused shall have the right to a speedy and public trial
7th Amendment In civil cases where the value of the controversy is exceeding twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved
8th Amendment Excessive bail shall not be required,no cruel or unusual punishments
9th Amendment The rights not in the constitution belong to the people, not the government
10th Amendment The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
11th Amendment The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State.
12th Amendment Election of the president. To make sure that the president and Vice President are of the same party. They shall be voted upon on separate ballots
13th Amendment Abolishes the practice of slavery and involuntary servitude
14th Amendment Everyone is equal and they all get the same treatment
15th Amendment Black suffrage, Allowed the black males to vote in elections
16th Amendment Allowed the government to establish an income tax
17th Amendment Allowed citizens to directly elect their state senators instead of state legislators
18th Amendment The prohibition of the sale, manufacturing, and transportation of intoxicating liquors
19th Amendment women are allowed to vote in elections
20th Amendment Lame Duck Period AKA transfer of power
21st Amendment Repealed the 18th amendment
22nd Amendment Limited the president to only 2 terms(8 years)
23rd Amendment Allowed the people of the district of Columbia to vote under international elections
24th Amendment Prohibited poll taxes
25th Amendment In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.
26th Amendment Gave 18 year olds the right to vote
27th Amendment Raises shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.
