What is the difference between a planet's rotation and its revolution? A planet’s rotation is when the planet spins around itself on an axis. A planet’s revolution is the time it takes to orbit around the sun.
Describe what is happening during a solar eclipse. The moon travel between the Earth and the sun. This blocks out part of, or all of, the sun’s light.
