What part of the brain receives feedback information from the body when body temperature decreases? Also known as the "thermostat". hypothalamus
How can positive feedback be negative for the body? It can amplify or reinforce change that's occuring.

What happens when a cell is hypertonic? The cell swells and can burst
List in order the events of mitosis. interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase
What are the functions of connective tissue? To support the body, hold the body together, transport substances through the body, and protect from foreign invaders.
Where can dense irregular connective tissue be located? Deep fascia dermis scars, capsule of the kidney, spleen, lymph nodes, etc.
What is the function of a dendrite cell and where are they located? Dendrite cells protect the body from entrance of foreign invaders by using antigens. They are located at the stratum basale layer of the epidermis.
What type of synovial joint is the gliding joint? multiaxial joint
A condition in which a muscle does not respond to the strongest stimuli. muscle fatigue
