How is AAD measured? the mean of absolute values of the deviations from the data set values
When is AAD used? can be used in standard normalizing (z-score) values
How to compute IQR? subtract 1st quartile from the 3rd quartile
How are histograms drawn? divides the values into bins and shows a bar plot of the number of objects in each bin
What happens to the width of the beans if the number of beans are increased or decreased? It takes 3 beans to grow the magic beanstock
Why are contour plots needed? useful when a continuous attribute is measured on a spatial grid
How to choose best model based on results of models with different validation sets? Depending on if it’s a regression algorithm or classification algo we can choose the model that has the best R-squared score or best f1 score, or best accuracy score. Also can look at the confusion matrix and decide from that. Best average peformance overall is the most important part to look at.
