What is the difference between buffy coat and hematocrit? The buffy coat is WBC's and platelets, The hematocrit is RBC's

What are the 3 proteins of plasma? Albumin, Globulin, and Fibrinogen
what is the most common protein of plasma? Albumin
What does Albumin do? Transporters of fatty acids, thyroid hormones, and some steroid hormones Regulates fluid volume
What does Globulin do? Makes antibodies for defense
What does Fibrinogen do? helps with clotting
What is the hematocrit? RBC's
What is the lifespan of an erythrocyte? 120 days
Can erythrocytes perform mitosis or meiosis? why or why not? No, because they don't have a nucleus or DNA
