parallelogram a quadrilateral with opposite sides that are parallel and of equal length, and with opposite angles that are equal
triangle a polygon with three angles and three sides
trapezoid a quadrilateral shape with one pair of parallel sides
square a quadrilateral with four equal sides and four right angles and opposite sides that are parallel
rectangle a quadrilateral with four sides and two pairs of opposite equal parallel sides
angle the amount of turning between two lines at a common point
acute angle an angle measuring less than 90 degrees
obtuse angle any angle between 90 degrees and 180 degrees
right angle an angle measuring 90 degrees
quadrilateral a polygon with four straight sides
polygon a plane shape having three or more straight sides
side the line or curve on the edge of a shape joining its vertices
vertex, vertices point where surfaces meet; a corner
