What is a Samurai? A warrior in Japan
Who are the Shogun? Military Dictators
Who are the Daimyos? They are Land owning nobles
What was the closed country policy? It was that all foreigners that weren't Japanese weren't allowed to enter the country including western religions
What was the Meiji Era? The Meiji Era was Japan's time that they started to modernize to be at the same level with the other nations
What happened to the Samurai after the closed country policy? The Samurai felt that Japan was losing it's tradition and culture but modernizing with these other foreigners
Who was Katsumoto? He was the leader of the rebellion in Japan
Who was Captain Algren? He was one of the officers sent to Japan to help train the troops fighting the Samurai
What is the Bushido code? The Bushido code is basically the rule book for all Samurai, there are 6 key things that every Samurai showed have to become a Samurai
What is Zen? Zen is the idea that everybody can be at peace from any and all negativity
