Vastus Medialis Origin: Length of femur, medial condyloid ridge
Vastus Intermedius Origin: Upper anterior surface of femur
Vastus Lateralis Origin: Intertrochanteric line, greater trochanter
Rectus Femoris Origin: Anterior, inferior iliac spine, groove above acetabulum
Rectus Femoris Insertion: Superior patella, tibial tuberosity
Vastus Lateralis Insertion: Lateral border of patella, tibial tuberosity
Vastus Intermedius Insertion: Upper border of patella, tibial tuberosity
Vastus Medialis Insertion: Medial half of upper border of patella, tibial tuberosity
Semitendinosus Insertion: Anterior medial surface of tibia
Semimembranosus Insertion: Posteromedial surface of tibial condyle
Popliteus Insertion: Upper posterior medial surface of tibia
Gastrocnemius Insertion: Posterior calcaneus
Gracilis Insertion: Anterior medial surface of the tibia, just below the medial condyle
Biceps Femoris Insertion: Lateral condyle of tibia, fibular head
