What direction does Earth rotate? | East. |
Why is an extra day added to February every 4 years? | The Earth orbits the sun in about 365 1/4 days. The Romans added one day every four years to the Egyptian calendar so that annual events occur on the same day |
Why is it warmer at the equator than near the poles? | It is warmer at the equator because that is where the most DIRECT (concentrated) sunlight hits. |
Why does Earth have seasons? | Earth has seasons because it's axis is tilted as it revolves around the sun. |
