Greater Petrosal branches from facial within facial canal exits inner ear via 'Hiatus for the Greater Petrosal Nerve' to enter the middle cranial fossa. It traverses the superior aspect of Foramen Lacerum and enters the Pterygoid canal to reach the pterygopalatine fossa n/a
Chorda Tympani branches from facial within facial canal goes to middle ear cavity, then exits via pterygoid canal to pterygopalatine fossa n/a
