Cup is a customary unit of measurement used to find capacity.
Ounce is a custom unit of measurement used to find capacity.
Ton is equal to 2,000 pounds.
Liter is a metric unit of measurement used to find to find capacity.
Volume is the number of cubic units needed to fill a solid figure.
What is the formula for volume? V= l x w x h
Capacity is the volume of a container measured in liquid units.
Weight is how heavy an object is.
Mass is the amount of matter that something contains.
How is weight different than mass? The weight of an object changes depending on the location.
How is mass different than weight? The mass of an object always stays the same.
Customary units of Capacity from least to greast: cup, pint, quart, gallon
