What is mass number? The whole number equal to protons and neutrons.
What is an isotope? An atom of the same element with a different number of neutrons.
What is an ion? An atom of the same element with a different number of electrons.
How do you find the average atomic mass? Mass number 1 times the percent of abundance as a decimal plus the second mass number times the percent of abundance as a decimal. (repeat as needed)
