renewable resource | a resource that can be replaced |
nonrenewable resource | a resource that cannot be replaced |
pollution | to make soil, air, or water dirty |
conserve | to use resources carefully so they are not wasted or destroyed |
pesticide | chemical for killing insect pests |
climate | the pattern of weather in a place over a long period of time |
precipitation | the weather that falls to Earth as rain, snow, sleet, or hail |
vegetation | a variety of plants and trees |
habitat | a place where plants and animals live |
